This intake is designed specifically for the V-6 engine to give you maximum power and performance through increased airflow to give you the best possible track times. This air filter is not designed for everyday street use. The track day filters feature the same high-quality construction as Airaids Street filters but flow more air for race applications. The filters are constructed using polyurethane casings wire mesh reinforcement of the filter material at multiple layers of high flow cotton gauze. These track day filters are shipped dry but can be oiled if you prefer to run an oiled filter. These filters are signed for the more controlled racing environment in are not recommended for street use. They are not designed to catch the ultrafine particles of dirt often found on the street so they did not provide adequate day in day out daily driving protection for your engine.
