The Borla X-Pipe replaces your stock Corvette H-Pipe with a more free flowing exhaust that is made from 100% stainless steel that is also a lighter than your stock H-Pipe. The X pipe, when used with the Borla Catback system, help in reducing the "popping and gurgling" noise that is heard when decelerating (most folks like this sound). The X-pipe does not eliminate the "popping and gurgling" but does reduce it.
