2020-2024 C8 Corvette Borla S-Type Dual Round Angle Cut Carbon Fiber Tips Exhaust System
The C8 Corvette Borla S-Type Carbon Fiber Tip Exhaust System is an aftermarket performance exhaust system designed specifically for the eighth-generation (C8) Chevrolet Corvette. The system is made by Borla, a well-known manufacturer of high-performance exhaust systems for a variety of vehicles.
The Borla S-Type Carbon Fiber Tip Exhaust System is designed to improve the sound and performance of the C8 Corvette. It is made from high-quality T-304 stainless steel and features a straight-through muffler design for maximum airflow and reduced backpressure. The system also includes carbon fiber tips, which not only look great but are also lightweight and durable. It includes both AFM and NPP dual mode exhaust valves. The S-Type sound level delivers an aggressive, yet balanced sound with a deep tone.
According to Borla, the S-Type Carbon Fiber Tip Exhaust System provides a noticeable increase in horsepower and torque, along with a deeper and more aggressive exhaust note. The system is also said to be drone-free, meaning that it doesn't produce an annoying, constant hum or buzzing noise at cruising speeds.
It comes with 4" Carbon Fiber tips with bright centers and is available with Polished T-304 stainless steel tips part number 140839 or Black Chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips, part number 140839BC. The system is constructed using T-304 stainless steel and is backed by our Million Mile Warranty. Installation of the Borla S-Type Carbon Fiber Tip Exhaust System is straightforward, with no cutting or welding required. The system is designed to bolt directly onto the factory exhaust mounting points, making it a simple, plug-and-play upgrade.
Note: After installation of the Borla system, the controllers for the AFM and NPP valves in the exhaust system should be re-calibrated according to GM Document ID 5406413. Borla recommends taking your car to the nearest Chevrolet dealer for exhaust valve recalibration services.
