        INSTRUCTIONS SHEET

Required Tools and parts: Heat Gun or Hair Dryer Squeegee or Credit Card and a rag Soap and water Xacto Knife (only for some kits)

Preparing the light: With a rag, clean the area of the light very well Clean again with soapy water to remove all grease, grime and dirt Dry the light with a lint free cloth

Installing the smoked film: Get the entire light surface covered with the soapy water solution. This is important because the soapy water will let you move the film around until you get it into position. After you get the film where you want it, use your squeegee or credit card to work out all of the air bubbles. Start from the center and work your way out. It is important to get all of the water out from under the film. For curved surfaces you will need to use the heat gun to mold the film around the surface. Make sure not to overheat the film. Doing this will destroy your film. Your film may be slightly larger than needed, this is okay and normal. Just use the heat gun to mold the film around the corner. This will also allow for better light blockage.

Removing the smoked film: Removing the film will require a heat gun and time. You must heat up the film and peel from the corner on a sharp angle. Once the film is removed use goo gone or another adhesive removal solution to get rid of excess residue.

It is best to have a tint shop install these for you. They have the experience and can install with ease
