It is also a relatively affordable way to upgrade the engine bay without making any major modifications. The kit includes a custom-painted engine bay cover that replaced the factory black plastic cover. The engine bay cover is painted to match the exterior color of the car, giving the engine compartment a more uniform and polished appearance. The cover is made of lightweight fiberglass and featured a raised Corvette emblem.
