Sick and tired of the 1 to 4 shift in your Camaro? The skip shift eliminator, also called CAGS Defeat will stop that shift from first to fourth.

Do you hate the 1-4 skip shift installed on your Manual Transmission? This little device will eliminate that annoying issue. Our Camaro skip shift kit will allow you to disable the Computer Aided Gear Selection (CAGS) feature of your Camaro's 6-speed gearbox. This kit comes with the correct connectors, plugs, and seals to protect your wiring harness and CAGS solenoid to allow you to re-connect the harness for full CAGS function if you so desire. 

You may or may not notice the need for this small electronic device. For me, the first time I took our shop 2016 Camaro down the road I hit the annoying one to four exactly 3 times in 20 minutes. That's when we decided to install one of these in our Camaro. We have had other customers say they had never experienced the one to four shift before, so really depends on your driving habits and driving conditions. If you never want to worry about bogging down the engine with a one to fourth gear shift that we do suggest picking one of these handy devices up installing into your transmission and then drive happily down the road.

Please note, this skip shift eliminator is only for stick shift cars and will not work for an automatic sixth-generation Camaro.

-I installed this into my Camaro and now I can't go into reverse what is the problem?
*You installed this into your reverse lockout, you need to move up about 6 inches closer to the front of the car into the correct plug-in location.

-I don't have an SS I have an RS will this work?
*Yes, as long as your Camaro is a stick shift work on any model.
