If you're pretty savvy Camaro ZL1 owner then were fairly certain you have heard of the mild to wild exhaust controller, however, if you have not or if you're new to the Camaro hobby then we will explain what this handy little device does and how it operates. Basically, your ZL1 Camaro has a factory installed the multi-level exhaust system, this exhaust system has baffles built within the two inner tailpipes that will open and close at different throttle positions and RPMs. This happens automatically as you are traveling down the road in your Camaro. When those baffles open up there is no doubt in your mind what has just happened, you can hear very very strongly! But what happens if your Camaro is just sitting there? During normal idle, it's kind of quiet. You can change all of that with the Mild2Wild exhaust controller. This little handheld device allows you, with the push of a button, to open or close those exhaust valves we talked about above. So now any time your ZL1 Camaro is turned on and running you can open up the exhaust and listen to that awesome roar!
