The outer door window seal performs several important tasks. First, it helps guide the window up and down and keeps it from rattling when you drive your Corvette. It also keeps water from running down inside of your door causing your door to rust from the inside out. Unfortunately, the original window seals were not made from the greatest material and after years of even the best care, they will deteriorate allowing your windows to rattle and water to the down inside the door.
